Simon Gregory John Bull
Graduated from the University of Rhodesia in 1974 with a B.L. (Hons) and an LL.B degree. He was admitted as a partner of Atherstone & Cook in 1979 and is the senior partner of the firm. He specialises in family law, criminal matters and unlawful detentions in which he has had very substantial experience. He has acted in many high-profile criminal and civil matters and is generally regarded as one of the pre-eminent divorce lawyers in the country.

Gary Maitland Crosland
Graduated from the University of Cape Town in 1976 and 1978 with degrees of Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws. He was admitted as a partner in Atherstone & Cook in 1982 and specialises in corporate and commercial work, both litigious and non-litigious. He has considerable experience in drafting commercial contracts. He is also very experienced in property law, conducting due diligences, and advising on corporate governance and regulatory and compliance matters, in respect of which his services are much sought after.

Linda Ann Cook
Graduated from Cape Town University with a B.Proc and was admitted as a legal practitioner in 1983 and as a partner in Atherstone & Cook in 1984. She has expertise in property law, corporate, commercial and contract law. She also has vast experience in media law, particularly defamation affecting news media, and is considered a leading expert in Zimbabwe on defamation. Linda also has considerable experience in commercial litigation; and advises on infrastructure project agreements.

Innocent Chagonda
Graduated from the University of Zimbabwe with a BL (Hons) and an LL.B in 1989 and was admitted as a legal practitioner in February 1990 and admitted to partnership in April 1993. He is the Managing Partner for the Firm. His specialties are labour law, insurance law, corporate law. He has considerable expertise and experience in corporate law and transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, and acts frequently on such matters. He also advises on insurance and related matters.

Cathrine Chitiyo
Graduated from the University of Zimbabwe with a BL (Hons) and an LL.B. Pursuant to a merger with her law firm Wickwar & Chitiyo which had a sizeable conveyancing practice, she was admitted to partnership in March 2009. Cathrine has specialised in property law and conveyancing, and is the Conveyancing Partner. She is a member of the Conveyancing Committee of the Law Society of Zimbabwe. She also specializes in commercial transactions and advisory, legal due diligences, mergers and acquisitions and corporate transactions, some of which involve other jurisdictions.

Miranda Khumalo
Graduated from Rhodes University in 2006 and 2008 with a Bachelor of Social Science (B.S.S) and Bachelor of Law (LLB) and has a Higher Diploma in Tax Law from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law. She is currently pursuing a Global MBA at Trinity International University. She was admitted as a legal practitioner in 2009 and as a partner in Atherstone & Cook in 2013. Miranda is the lead partner in the Tax Advisory Department and she also works in the Corporate Investments Division. She advises mostly foreign investors on the establishment of corporate structures, regulatory compliance and licensing, mergers and acquisitions, tax compliance, and due diligence exercises. She has worked on infrastructure projects in the energy and transport sectors and mineral resource projects.

Tafadzwa Chagonda
Graduated from the University of Witwatersrand in 2014 with an LLB (Hons) degree. He is currently pursuing a Masters in Finance and Financial Law with the University of London. He joined the firm as an associate in 2014 and was admitted as a partner in January 2019. Tafadzwa specializes in civil litigation, together with commercial and corporate law advisory matters. He also specializes in labour law.

Thomas Chagudumba
Graduated from the University of Zimbabwe in 2013 with an LLB (HONS) degree. He joined the firm and was admitted as a legal practitioner in early 2014. Thomas was admitted as a partner in January 2019. Thomas specializes in labour, general civil litigation, and tax law litigation and advisory matters.

Amalia Manuel
Graduated from the University of Zimbabwe in 2013 with an LLB (HONS) degree. She joined the firm and was admitted as a legal practitioner in early 2014. Amalia was admitted as a partner in January 2019. Amalia now specializes in insurance, corporate regulatory and compliance matters.

Chris Mhike
Attained his Bachelor of Laws (Honours) Degree from the University of Zimbabwe in 2002. Chris joined the firm in 2003 and was admitted to partnership in 2005. Chris is also a qualified journalist and so specialises in media law. He is a past Councillor of Law Society of Zimbabwe, Chevening Fellow, and Commissioner of Zimbabwe Media Commission. In 2016 Chris obtained a Masters degree in Intellectual Property in United States of America, and has expertise in intellectual property, information and telecommunications law and policy, and legislative review. Chris takes part in workshops and stakeholder-training in this sector.
